The ultimate map of the greatest world of clouds

In this project, I created a map of a cloud world, aiming at spreading the knowledge of cloud types and to challenge the relationship between protagonist and sidekick in an interactive way as well extending my research on clouds from my past project " A book of justice for clouds".

Three coloured Riso Printed map

Maps serves as guides when navigating to a destination or when you are lost, they do not have a specific focal point which the final destination is left to the readers, allowing open interpretation. Inspired by the geography of Hong Kong with three islands, The New Territories, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, the publication is divided into three parts with nature, business and residential.

Besides, the map shows the passing of time in the cloud world, from morning to the evenings as well incorporated some small daily encounters adding in a sense of humour.

zoom in of the publication

Here are some idea development and sketches of the publication. The grid is for readers to locate where each event happen across the book, with time located on the left or right corners of the page, so that people can accurately pin point each incident.
